My Story

The day my dad and I unloaded the final box from the U-Haul into the basement bedroom of my first ever rental, I knew Denver was home. Originally from Dallas, I graduated from the University of Alabama (roll tide!) with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. I continued my studies at the University of Denver and received a Master of Arts in Psychology before heading back a few years later for Public Policy! In between, I conducted research at the University of Colorado Anschutz in the Maternal Fetal Medicine department where I was able to hone in my data and research skills through scientific publications. Reproductive health research is a personal passion of mine, and I hope to always have one foot in that world! To learn more, take a look at my Research Gate.

In my work, I value professionalism that is rooted in approachability. I find so much joy, fun and fulfillment in advocating for my fellow Coloradans, and approach each relationship with openness, curiosity and a fierce desire to advocate!

I reside in Denver with my husband, Tyler, and puppy, Tucker. When I'm not working, you can find me skiing, enjoying a jalapeño margarita or voice noting my sister!
